Sweet Cakes

I wonder if not most people would like to be invited for delicious and sweet cakes.

When playing bakery, or invite to a tea party, the cupcake liner and cakes can be swapped around.

The cupcake liner is made in slip-stitch pattern.

The cakes can be decorated with beads or knitted decorations.

There are patterns for 3 different cakes, 3 kinds of decorations and 2 variations of the cupcake liner.

The cakes are 7-10cm high.

Weight: approx. 10gram.

Yarn: Spindrift, 100% Pure Shetland Wool from Jamieson’s of Shetland.

Rose shades:

25g shade 141 Camel.

25g shade 190 Tundra.

25g shade 603 Pot-Pouri.

25g shade 547 Orchid.

25g shade 562 Cyclamen.

25g shade 556 Old Rose.

Purple shades:

25g shade 141 Camel.

25g shade 190 Tundra.

25g shade 365 Chartreuse.

25g shade 620 Lilac.

25g shade 615 Hyacinth.

25g shade 179 Buttermilk.

Needles: Double pointed needles (DPNs) 3mm (US 2.5) and 2.5 mm (US1.5).

Tension: 10×10 cm = 26 sts and 38 rows stocking stitch on 3mm (US2.5).

Filling for the cakes: Fiber filling or sponge material cut in small pieces or waste yarn.
