The lotus flower consists of petals which are knitted

separately and finally sewn together to form a flower.

In the kit are 3 shades for petals and 1 shade for stamens

and stem. The petal layers can each have their own shade or they can be mixed. The flower is also spectacular if it is knitted in one shade.

If the lotus flower is to be used as a decoration on

something, you can omit knitting the stem.
