The hen is felted in a washing machine or by hand wash.

If the filling is left out the hen can be used as an egg cozy.

The kit contains 3 shades of yarn.

The body of the hen can be knitted in one shade with comb and tail feathers in contrasting shade.

Make different colour combinations, this ensures that

shades are used equally.
