Small fir trees knit in two lovely green colors. They are perfect as Christmas decorations.
The tree is knit on double pointed needles, the branches are knit separately and knit on the tree along the way.

The height of the trees is 8 cm.

”Squeak, squeak!” said a little mouse just then. He crept across the floor, and another one followed him. They sniffed the fir tree, and rustled in and out among its branches. “It is fearfully cold,” one of them said. “Except for that, it would be very nice here, wouldn’t it, you old fir tree?”

The Fir Tree

Size:	The Little Firs are 8cm high and diameter at the bottom is 6cm. Weight of one tree is approximately 5 gram.
Yarn:	Spindrift,100% Pure Shetland Wool from Jamieson’s of Shetland. Yardage: 25g = 105m (115yd) 25g shade 259 Leprechaun. 25g shade 812 Prairie.
Needles:	one set of five double pointed needles (DPNs) 3mm (US 2½) for the tree and two straight needles 3mm (US 2½) for the branches.
Tension:	10×10 cm = 26sts and 36rows on 3mm needle in stocking stitch.
